Our original idea was for our trailer to be a supernatural thriller. However, we reconsidered the disadvantages of including the ghost character in our trailer. Once we had done this, we decided that we no longer wanted to include the supernatural theme due to these.
Disadvantages of supernatural theme:
- Lack of suitable filming equipment
- Lack of available special effects
- Concept may confuse audience too much
- May overcomplicate our storyline and over rule other important elements
- Difficult to cast
- Lots of shots needed to create fading effects
- Requires a lot of our time to create correct effect
